PPS Gas and Electric Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) looks after your personal information carefully. This page explains what we collect when you use this website or book us, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

PPS Gas and Electric Limited is a family-run gas and heating business based in Warwick, covering Leamington Spa and South Warwickshire. Company number 07562610, registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website.

What we collect
When you send a message through our website form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your postcode
- Your phone number and/or email address
- Anything you tell us about the job
If you call or WhatsApp us, we keep your number and the details of your enquiry so we can get back to you. When we carry out work, we keep the records the law and manufacturers require, such as gas safety certificates and installation details.
We may also collect basic, anonymous statistics about how the website is used (pages visited, type of browser) through cookies. See “Cookies” below.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a visit
- To carry out and invoice the work you have asked for
- To send service reminders or follow up on work we have done for you
- To improve our website and the way we work
We never sell your details, and we will not send you marketing without your consent.
Our legal basis
We process your details because we have a legitimate interest in answering your enquiry, and because we need them to carry out the contract when you book us. Some records, such as landlord gas safety records, we keep because the law requires it. If we ever send marketing, we will ask for your consent first.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 3 years for business records. Job records, including gas safety certificates, are kept for at least 2 years as the regulations require. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, unless the law says we must keep them.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of services to run the business, and they may process your details on our behalf:
- Our website host, which stores and sends the messages from the contact form
- WhatsApp, if you choose to message us that way (WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies)
- Google Analytics, for anonymous website statistics
- Boiler manufacturers, when we register a new boiler for its warranty on your behalf

The website uses essential cookies that it needs to work, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) that tell us how people use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your data
- Stop or limit how we use it
- Give you a copy of your data in a usable format
