- Visual inspection A full check of the boiler, casing, flue and everything you can see.
- Burner and heat exchanger Cleaned and checked for wear, corrosion or blocked jets.
- Gas pressure and flow Tested against the manufacturer’s figures.
- Safety devices Pressure relief valve, thermostat and overheat protection all tested.
- Leak check Gas and water connections checked throughout.
- Condensate system Trap and pipe checked for blockages or wear.
- CO and flue test Flue gas analysis to check combustion and carbon monoxide levels.
- Full operational test Heating and hot water run through to make sure everything works.

We service every major make, including Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal, Baxi and Glow-worm. Every service includes a flue gas analysis to check combustion and carbon monoxide levels, and a full test of your heating and hot water.

Boiler service questions
How often should my boiler be serviced?
Once a year. Most manufacturers need a yearly service by a Gas Safe engineer to keep the warranty valid.
When is the best time to book?
September and October, before the cold weather, when boilers are most likely to break down.
Do landlords need a boiler service?
A service isn’t the same as a gas safety certificate (CP12), which landlords need every 12 months. We can do both in one visit.
