A lot can change in 12 months. Boilers run thousands of hours a year. Parts wear, seals degrade, flues can become partially blocked. An annual service catches these issues before they become breakdowns — or worse.

When Is the Best Time to Book a Service?

Late summer or early autumn — September or October — is ideal. You want to know your boiler is working properly before you need it in winter. Book it in summer and you’ll also find it easier to get an appointment. Engineers are much busier once the cold hits.

What If I’ve Missed a Year (or Several)?
